Community Gardens

Growing food feels more important than ever, so we are ramping things up in our edible gardens.

We grow vegetables, herbs, edible flowers and fruit to supplement the amazing efforts of our weekly Community Lunches, offering the community some fresh, organic and local produce in their meals.

Also at the Good Food Hub look out for seedling pop-up stalls that will run throughout spring and summer.

Seedlings are lovingly propagated by our eager volunteers, students and staff.

We also run Horticulture and Permaculture Basics courses each term.

To find out more take a look at our events page.

How can you help?

We are currently seeking more garden volunteers on Tuesdays, and the timing is flexible, so you can come on down for an hour or four to get your hands dirty.

Learn about propagation, sustainable gardening and much more, all while connecting to other green thumbs and getting some nature therapy!
