There are many ways you can be involved with Kyneton Community House and our community.
Become A Member
For KCH to operate effectively it needs a broad membership base, drawn from local residents and those in the surrounding region. In particular, those who have an interest in developing and strengthening the Kyneton community.

A strong membership base will provide a connection with local residents and better inform the House’s response to community needs and aspirations.
Volunteer
Volunteering is a terrific way to become involved with the community.

KCH has opportunities for various roles including:

strategic and business planning

HR & volunteer management

providing community activities

maintaining the community garden

assisting with childcare activities

classroom assistant eg: computer and literacy classes

Community Lunches
We're always looking for volunteers to assist with our regular community lunches.
Can you help out each week, fortnight or month?
Roles Include:
- Chopping vegetables
- Cooking meals
- Setting up the dining hall
- Serving food
- Cleaning dishes
- other jobs to suit interests and abilities
Volunteers need to be available between 9:30am and 2:30pm on Wednesdays depending on the role.
Community Food Donations
Do you have surplus vegetables and fruit you wish to donate to the Kyneton Community Lunch?
